Venue: IHC, Delhi
Date: 13th-16th December
ICDL 2016 Event was organised by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute, www.teriin.org) between 13th-16th December at IHC, Delhi, India on “knowledge Trends that will change the world”.
The focus of ICDL 2016 was to have a discussion on how digitization trends are reshaping the organization in the world. How disruption will bring with it significant opportunities for the fast changing world in the era of the digitally connected world. An effective Digitization Strategy Framework provides organizations with the tools needed to capture new digitization opportunities. The framework should consist of a diagnosis phase that helps organizations set the basis for strategy development through understanding global trends, customer needs, and competitors’ activities, and to evaluate current capabilities and gaps. Hence, creating a Smart Future was highlighted in this edition of ICDL.
Our Director and CTO, Mandar Bhagwat was invited to share his thoughts with the august gathering of ICDL 2016, considering the work being done by Pozitive in Employee Engagement and Productivity.
Mandar delivered his address on “Knowledge Management for Generations Y and Z” at this occasion which was streamed live in several countries.
Brief summary of Mandar’s delivered address at ICDL 2016.
“Generations Y and Z have grown up in the world with rapid changes happening all around. In their world, knowledge is always available and accessible in a consumable format. These generations are digitally native and have grown up with Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. They enjoy the open culture and are liberal than previous generations. When professionals from these generations join the organization, their expectations from the organization are different. For them the medium and patterns of knowledge capture, share and consumption are changing from push to pull. This session discusses leveraging Mobility, AI and Machine learning to build effective and efficient KM tools.”
Recording of the address is available on Teri’s global site.
